dance like nobody's watching...

this was a commission i cut for a very nice lady who wanted to cheer up her friend. she gave me the quote and told me lots of things that her friend was fond of, so i mushed it all together.

what a lovely friend...

'work like you don't need the money.
love like you've never been hurt.
dance like nobody's watching.'

'reasons to be happy' paper cut out...

hello,
this is a little look at the large cutout i have on display at the Gallery2 in Ipswich Town Hall. with spring dragging its feet at the time i wanted to focus it on cheering people up, and to seize the day!

you can go see this cutout, which is displayed much nicer than in these photos, and other cut outs at the Town Hall until 7th April. So next time your in the area why not have a little look?

a paper cut family tree with heart...

to all of those ladies who have made a person, happy mothers day.

this was a commission i was asked to do as a Mothers day present. it is a family tree for a lovely lady who has had four children and now has five grandchildren. i have popped in lots of little objects that relate to each person, because it's nice isn't it?

i have already had an email from the lovely mum to thank me! i like my job.

paper cut mothers day card - made to order...

this is a commissioned mothers day card i made recently. it can be given as a card, but later framed and kept, so can also count as a gift, bonus.

a friend of mine wanted to give her mum something thoughtful. i was told her mum loved gardening and spinning her own wool, so this is what i came up with...

public apology... grammar mishap

hello there nice people who read my blog.

i would like to make a public apoligy. to those of you i offended with my grammar misdemeanor, i can only apologise. i'm afraid the rush i have had on has allowed my dyslexia to get the better of me.

thank you to those who had a quiet word to let me know, and thank you to those who didn't.

i have made the necessary adjustments...

'thank you mum' paper cut mothers day card...

this is my first of a handful of cards i am designing for mothers day this year.

thankfully this is a fun task for me, as i happen to think my mum is awesome.

mums do so much for us, just to keep us alive, let alone to make us feel happy and safe, and eventually to keep us on the straight and narrow!

we should all show our thanks somehow...

'mum, thank you for looking after me'

yours for £8
